Violet is starting to say a bunch of words - Mama, Dada, Bubba (Roman,) hi, bye, up, down, dog, head, ball, done, night, this, that and UH-OH. Currently the last one is her favorite! She is *almost* walking on her own - mostly just walking around while we are holding one of her hands. Violet's favorite book is, "The Pigeon Loves things That Go!" Her favorite songs are "One Little Finger" (she likes to act out the movements,) "Monkey Man" by the Wiggles and speaking of wiggling, she really likes to dance and shake her little tush! Violet also is really starting to act things out. She loves Emma Wiggle and if Emma is holding a baby doll, Violet makes sure she is holding one in exactly the same way. She's also really starting to understand what we are saying. If we say, "Violet, where is your head?" she will point to her head. Or if you ask her to give a stuffed animal (or Bubba) a kiss, she will gladly oblige! Violet's favorite food is ANYTHING with cheese - cheese toast, eggs and cheese, macaroni and cheese.
Roman has become a reading machine over the past six months! He can read basic chapter books, like "Frog and Toad Are Friends" and every night, he and I lay in bed and read together. Roman is very excited for his Paw Patrol 5th birthday party next weekend. His best friends are Layla Dyer and Isla Harris. Roman LOVES science projects and is very excited to start Kindergarten in the fall! Next Friday, he will graduate from the River School (He is SO EXCITED, I will be a crying mess!) He's also taking piano and swim lessons and excelling at both! Roman's favorite food is CHOCOLATE - what a sweet tooth he has!
